Welcome

Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome in this place. At LifePoint, your religious or non-religious background does not matter. Instead, it is simply about connecting – to Jesus, to other people, and to God's best for your life. We strive to be a teaching church, asking difficult questions and seeking biblical answers to discover the abundant life that God offers for everyone.

Please explore our website and learn who we are and what we are about. Feel free to email us if you have any questions. I hope you will join us for Sunday morning worship at 11 AM.

While not being overbearing, we will do our best to help you feel comfortable and appreciated. Come to learn. Come to grow. Come to have a very meaningful, sacred and pleasant worship experience with Jesus Christ.

Hope to see you soon,
Pastor Thomas

What Makes Us Different?

At LifePoint, we understand that you have many options when it comes to choosing your church home. In this, our belief is that it is a good idea to "church shop," as churches, like friends, have very different personalities and offerings. That being said, when you come to LifePoint, you can expect a few things to "stand out," from what you will find in the churches around us.

Content-driven, Bible-based teaching messages
First, all messages at LifePoint are content-driven, grounded in scripture, intended to teach (not preach) transforming truth, and accompanied by detailed sermon notes for you to take home to learn and grow during the week. The sermon notes are the backbone of our discipleship community, and you will always leave LifePoint with "meat" and deep content to help in your walk with the Lord.

Personalized "Next Steps" for your Discipleship Pathway
Second, LifePoint offers very clear "next steps" to help you in your spiritual growth. James Coffman is our Discipleship Pathways director whose sole responsibility is to work with folks on their journey of faith. In this, we have developed a Discipleship Pathways program, as well as ancillary resources of Dr. Childs apologetics books (to answer difficult questions), the 6 Habits of Faithful Discipleship, small group offerings, mentorships, and more to guide you on your journey.

Senior Staff available to answer your questions
Third, our senior pastor (Dr. Thomas Childs) is uniquely gifted and available to help you answer difficult questions and navigate your journey of faith to abundance and tranformation. Dr. Childs has authored 3 books on apologetics, he has 3 graduate degrees in the field of theology, and he also is a professionally certified coach, for the purpose of helping people navigate questions and find answers to life's most difficult, yet important issues. If you personally want to meet with Dr. Childs at a local Starbucks to talk about God, Jesus, the Bible, or your spiritual path, all you have to do is ask.

A Culture of Joy and Hope
Fourth, following Christ at LifePoint is a JOY! Our culture, beginning with the staff and continuing throughout our congregation, is grounded in choosing joy, seeing the blessings of God in all of life, and doing our best to care for one another.  From Pastor Thomas to Cameron, to James and Marcia, to Shawn and Bob, to Peter and Ashley, to so many others, our staff and leadership have a deep love and passion for Jesus Christ and seeing people's lives changed through growing together and being Jesus' "Light to the World."

Give us a shot. We think you'll love it here.

What to Expect at LifePoint

  • Our senior pastor (Dr. Thomas Childs) and staff are dedicated to investing their lives in service to all who consider LifePoint their church home and family. "Coffee with the Sr. Pastor" is routine and all sermons are preached live and in person. Additionally, we have staff dedicated to helping you and your family feel connected, from kids to youth and students to adults. We are here for you!

  • Sermon notes and daily devotional ideas are provided alongside all sermons, so bring your Bible, a pencil and a heart ready to learn and grow. "Bring Your Brain" is our motto, because, as we learn truths about God for everyday life from the Bible through Dr. Childs' messages, our lives are transformed. The foundation and heart of our culture at LifePoint is found in our belief that "transformation comes through a renewing of the mind" (Romans 12:2). In this, the goal of all sermons at LifePoint is to teach life-changing, Bible-grounded, Christian principles that can make a real difference in everyday life. Great care is taken to bring the material alive, making it relevant, meaningful, and enjoyable.

  • At LifePoint you'll find worship that is relevant, reverent, meaningful and transformative. Our worship services combine the best of the "familiar old hymns" as well as modern praise and worship songs. The goal of our worship is to create an experience of spending quality time with Jesus Christ that is vibrant, sacred, familiar, and profound. We engage meaningful traditions like the Lord's Prayer and Apostle's Creed, while also utilizing the latest video and audio venues.

  • LifePoint is a fast-growing, community-based church that is reaching people in all parts of northwest Fort Worth, Haslet, and the west Alliance corridor. Our members range from Haslet to Justin, Roanoke to Rhome, Saginaw to Blue Mound, north Fort Worth to Watauga.

  • Infant Care

LifePoint is committed to providing a safe, nurturing Christian environment for young children. Check-in and check-out is required, and it is recommended that you arrive five minutes before worship to check-in your children. All of our workers have had background checks, and LifePoint strictly complies to "MinistrySafe" policies.

    LifePoint KIDS

LifePoint is blessed with children who want to learn, be with friends, and have fun! KidZone offers exciting opportunities for your child to get connected. With age appropriate Bible lessons, related crafts, games, etc., your children will learn about Christianity in fun and meaningful ways that leave them wanting to come back for more.

  • We have a variety of groups that meet at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. Click here for our groups.

  • At LifePoint, we don't have a "dress code," but most folks who come to LifePoint wear Business Casual (no coat/tie) to Casual.

We're glad you're interested in LifePoint Fellowship! Complete this form before the weekend to let us know you're coming. We'll even have the child check-in tags ready for you if you have kiddos!
